For Yourself!
Thank you for your interest in
learning more about our studio the " American Kenpo Karate
Studio"..Were located in Modesto, CA at 3604 Oakdale
Road, Suite B near the corner of Oakdale and Sylvan roads by Perkos
Cafe. Senior instructor and owner Professor Tim Ohara opened the
studio in Dec. 1994, and teaches "The Ed Parker System of Kenpo"
also known as American Kenpo. Kenpo is well known for its potential
to ward off multiple attackers, utilizing all of your natural weapons
with lighting quick combinations and hard hitting power. What really
makes Kenpo so unique is the application of principles and concepts
of motion while studying Kenpo movements, making it a system based
on logic. American Kenpo is one of the few systems that encourages
the student to tailor movements to fit their size, strength, age,
abilities, etc. The end result is that within the Kenpo "System"
individual "Styles" will begin to emerge!
